WARRANTY


When does the warranty on my Nissan Begin? >>
The warranty period begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to the first retail buyer or put into use whichever comes first.

How long is my Nissan's warranty and what does it cover? >>
The basic coverage period is 3 years or 100,000km, whichever comes first. Please refer to the warranty booklet.

Is there a deductible for warranty repairs? >>
No, there is no deductible for warranty repairs.

Is towing covered? >>
Towing is not covered by your warranty.

Is rental car reimbursement covered? >>
This is not covered by the warranty.

Who will determine if the repair on my vehicle is covered? >>
Take your vehicle to the nearest Nissan authorized dealer. Once they have diagnosed the problem, they will let you know whether the repair is covered.

Will I be reimbursed for a warranty repair not done at an authorized dealer? >>
Your Nissan warranty generally requires that you take your Nissan to a Nissan authorized dealer.


Can I modify my vehicle or add accessories not authorized by Nissan? >>
No. You are responsible for properly using, maintaining, and caring for your Nissan as outlined in your owner's manual and your Nissan Service and Maintenance Guide. Keep copies of all maintenance records and receipts for potential review by Nissan. Failure to do so could result in the denial of warranty coverage.

How often do I take my Nissan for service? >>
Your New Nissan Vehicle Warranty does not cover repairs for damage or condition which are the cause of installing or using of non-genuine Nissan accessories available at the time you ordered or purchased your new Nissan, as well as after purchase from your Nissan authorized dealer.

I misplaced my Warranty Information Booklet. How can I get another copy? >>
You must report the loss of the booklet at to your Nissan authorized dealer for a new booklet. Failed to do so may cause delay of warranty claim.

How is my Battery Warranty? >>
The warranty covering your Nissan’s battery is one year or 20,000 km, whichever comes first.

How is my Tire Warranty? >>
At this moment no warranty covered for tires.


MAINTENANCE


How often do I need to have the oil changed in my vehicle? >>
Nissan recommended service interval at every 5,000km/ 3 months, whichever comes first or every 10,000km/6 months, whichever comes first. For any queries please refer to your NISSAN service advisor.

What should I do if I think my NISSAN vehicle needs service? >>
You should always call a Nissan authorized dealer, even if you aren't sure that your vehicle requires service. A simple call will help you avoid bigger cost and inconveniences later.

What should I do to repair my vehicle after a collision? >>
Always insist on Nissan Collision Parts to keep your Nissan running at its best.

How can I obtain the keycode for my vehicle? >>
Please refer to NISSAN authorized dealer. Key registration without authorized technicians may damage your NATS and immobilizer security system.

How can I obtain an owner manual for my NISSAN vehicle? >>
You must report the loss of the booklet to your NISSAN authorized dealer for a new booklet.

Can I receive a notice before my maintenance schedule arrives? >>
NISSAN service advisor will do service reminder follow-up call after your 1st visit to NISSAN authorized dealer. You also may take a look at the Daily Maintenance section of your owner’s manual.
